Videos: Wildlife in motion
In one of our local forests, a faint call from a tree cavity revealed something special — a nest of the Black Woodpecker, a species I had been hoping to find for a long time.
From a respectful distance, we watched the parents feed their nearly fledged chick. Early the next morning, we returned and quietly set up a camouflage tent about twenty meters from the tree.
Tristan captured the photograph of the feeding moment. I filmed this 4K sequence shortly after. The next day, the nest was silent. The young woodpecker had fledged. We were just in time.
Trail Camera Moments
Wildlife reveals itself in moments we rarely get to witness. The videos in this gallery are captured using trail cameras, allowing animals to behave naturally without human presence nearby. Without disturbance or interference, wildlife moves freely, revealing behaviour that often remains unseen.
